MiniMovers: Jazz & Tap is an energetic introduction to two of America's great dance traditions. While Rikud specializes in hip hop and breaking, we believe young dancers benefit from understanding the broader lineage of Black American social dance . Tap develops rhythm, timing, and musicality, while Vernacular Jazz introduces the groove, improvisation, and movement concepts that helped shape many of the street and club dances practiced today. Students will build coordination, balance, listening skills, and confidence while exploring foundational movement through age-appropriate drills, games, and creative exploration.
