About this event

13 Wednesdays; except Nov 11 + Nov 25 Through music, food, movies, books, holidays, language, crafts, and hands-on activities, children will explore the many cultures, communities, and traditions that make up Israeli society. This club will create space for meaningful conversations, creativity, and connection while introducing kids to everyday life in Israel in an engaging and age-appropriate way. Children will also be exposed to conversational Hebrew throughout the program through songs, games, expressions, and cultural activities. Hebrew Hang Out is led by our Jewish Community Coordinator, Shalev, a young Israeli educator who came to New York to connect with communities outside of Israel. It is of deep importance to us that our programs be financially accessible for all. If your family would like to discuss financial assistance for any of our programs, please email lenora@jccharlem.org.
