Kid's Tuesday Tales is a story session at the NYPL Jerome Park Library, presented by the New York Public Library – Jerome Park. The event is free to attend.
Join us at Jerome Park Library every Tuesday from 11am - 12pm to hear stories, sing songs, and get those wiggles out as you help your active child build important early learning skills. Discover ways to promote early literacy at home and meet other caregivers in the neighborhood. Best for new walkers, toddlers, or children at this developmental stage.

Revel in lively, blended compositions drawing from both traditions, as performed by renowned musicians from the Ghanaian drum ensemble Ekome Femo including Amos Gabia (voice/djembe/ dun dun), Raymond Odai Laryea (djembe/dun dun/ gankogui), Dylan James (banjo/fiddle), and ethnomusicologist/performer Colin Harte on (voice/piano/bodhrán/djembe). Kids will use an assortment of coloring pages, crayons, and colored pencils to create their own art. Encourgage younger kids to develop their number recognition and older kids to develop their concentration and stamina with color-by-number and mosaic coloring pages! Create beautiful projects you can display at home! Supplies are provided by the library, and inspiration is provided by kids! Children 12 and under are welcome.
