Citizen Scientist Ozone Garden Project
Butterfield Memorial Library · Cold Spring
The Butterfield Library will participate in the Ozone Garden Network, a nation-wide project to collect data on the impact of ozone in our environment. With a grant funded by (NASA Team II) we planted both sensitive and tolerant plants to study their responses to ozone. Ozone bioindicator gardens are designed to show how pollution damages plants. We will monitor our Learning Garden until early fall, to see how our plants have been affected using visual comparison. Come and be a citizen scientist! Questions?
