Does your child LOVE to create? Have they aged out of our art classes at the studio? Have no fear because the perfect class for them is here! Our Tween Art Studio is designed for passionate young artists who are excited to expand their art practice, learn advanced techniques and try new things. During this series, students will explore a wide range of bookbinding and bookmaking techniques while building their confidence and creative skills. Projects include junk journals, sketchbooks making, mini folding zines, altered book sculptures, accordion-style folding books, and tie and sewn binding methods. Each child will leave with a variety of project and a whole new set of skills!

Reminder we are now located at 10-34 49th Ave. Our After School Program is the most creative option in Long Island City! Over the course of the semester children will become experts in various art materials and techniques. They will make art that is unique and meaningful to them! Sculpture, printmaking, collage, painting, drawing, and more will be explored over the course of the session. Each child will receive a sketchbook to work in throughout the semester. At the end of the semester children will leave with a portfolio of artwork they are proud of! Children are celebrated with a Art Show for friends and family in December. Our Pre-Teen & Teen Program is an excellent way to develop physical competence and strength while giving pre-teens and teenagers a strong sense of self-worth and accomplishment. Each class includes a warm-up, strength session, workout, and cool-down/debrief. Classes are led by experienced coaches trained to work with youth athletes. All fitness levels are welcome. Workouts are adaptable to the novice athlete as well as the expert.
