Let’s gather together to enjoy Autumn in the gardens and orchard. We will record our stories in a journal, build with sticks, stems, rocks and blocks, and exercise our imagination. This is a chance for littles and caregivers to dig into gentle gardening with soil, water, bulbs, roots, or seeds. We always end with gratitude for forest friends and a cup of warm tea. Come see the Tarrytown Lighthouse in Sleepy Hollow! Join staff at the open house for a look inside the lighthouse and to learn about what life was like for the keepers. Drop-in, self-led program. Groups of 8 or more must pre-register. The Tarrytown Lighthouse in Sleepy Hollow is located at Kingsland Point Park off Palmer Avenue. Park at Kingsland Point Park. The lighthouse is accessed by a 10 minute stroll south along the Riverwalk path. The five story structure includes four narrow stairways. Note that there are no restrooms in the lighthouse; restrooms are available at Kingsland Point Park.

Join us at the farm as we welcome master storyteller, Jonathan Kruk. Jonathan will lead participants on a magical fairy walk with stories of wonder and magic. Children of all ages are welcome to don their wings and join us for this enchanting morning. There is no registration required. Story walks will begin promptly at 10:30, 11:00 and 11:30. Fairy trail will remain open for self-led walks from 12:00 until 2:00.
