Open Studio Weekday Mornings For children 12 months and up | 9am to 12pm | $28 per child Running September 14th through December 21st Come create with us! Our Open Studio sessions give you and your little one a full three-hour window to explore, make, and simply be together. Arrive anytime after 9am and stay as long as you like before we wrap up at noon. No rushing. No rigid schedule. Just a morning full of creative possibility. Whether you are looking to escape the heat, rain, or cold, fill a slow weekday morning, or just get out of the house and into something beautiful, this is the spot for you. For $28 per child, your family gets a full morning in a warm, colorful, fully stocked studio designed to spark imagination in kids of all ages and stages. Sessions run every Monday and Friday from 9am to 12pm, starting the week of September 14 and running through the week of December 20. Space fills up quickly, especially once the weather turns, so booking ahead is always a good idea. What to Expect When you walk in, the studio is yours to explore. Here is what makes these mornings so special: Creative Freedom: The studio is set up as an open, free-flowing environment where your child can follow their own curiosity. There is no set agenda, no assigned seats, and no wrong answers. Just materials, space, and time to play and make. Guided Project Option: A teaching artist will be in the studio throughout the session and available to lead an optional, intentional art project for families who want a little more structure alongside the open exploration. You choose how you want to spend your morning. A Wide World of Materials: Every session features a rotating variety of art materials and sensory experiences, from paint and collage to clay and beyond. There is always something new to discover. Quality Time, Unplugged: These sessions are designed for parents, guardians, and caretakers to create alongside their children. It is one of our favorite ways to slow down and really be present together. Good to Know Cost is $28 per child for the full three-hour session. Adults are always free. Sessions run 9am to 12pm on Mondays and Fridays, September 14th through December 21st. Advance booking is required. Reserve your spot through Sawyer on a first-come, first-served basis. You are welcome to book as many sessions as you like throughout the season. These are not drop-off sessions. A parent or guardian must remain in the studio with their child for the duration of the visit. Dress for mess! Creativity gets gloriously messy around here. We recommend old clothes or a smock, and packing a spare set is never a bad call. We can not wait to make something beautiful with you.
