About this event

Lights, camera, action! In this all-in-one filmmaking class, kids become directors, actors, animators, and editors as they create their own original movies—both live action and stop motion. From YouTube-style videos to brickfilms and puppet adventures, students will learn how to plan, shoot, and edit like real creators. Each week blends storytelling, green screen tricks, sound effects, and hands-on animation using Legos, clay, or puppets. We’ll explore what makes great content, practice video and audio editing, and even learn how to manage a YouTube-style channel (without actually publishing). Students bring home short films and tons of new skills in digital storytelling, creative thinking, and collaboration. Perfect for aspiring filmmakers, animators, and storytellers ready to make their ideas come alive—one frame at a time!
