About this event

What to expect in class:Experience music from all around the world-- music from both past and present, near and far! From The Beatles to Bach! In Music 1, children will delight in the sound of instruments, and “singing” through musical baby talk. They'll enjoy being sung to, experiencing new sounds and the anticipation of surprise!Benefits:Physical: Sensory exploration time is supported while children practice their motor skills, which is crucial for your baby’s overall development.Cognitive: Music-play helps activate parts of the brain responsible for music and speech processing. 16 Tuesdays (except Dec 22 + Dec 29) This class builds on skills learned in our Intermediate 1 class. Mastering the timing for side breathing in freestyle is a main focus, along with an introduction to breaststroke and dolphin kick. Advanced freestyle and backstroke drills are used to produce more efficient swimmers. Prerequisites: Swimmers must be able to swim 25 meters independently.

16 Tuesdays (except Dec 22 + Dec 29) Our first drop-off class for beginner swimmers takes place in the training pool without a parent/caregiver in the water. This class will introduce your child to water safety, breath control, back floating, independent water entry and exit, as well as following directions in a group setting among peers. Your little dolphin will learn to feel safe and confident in the water on their own.
