About this event

NYPL After School is a free drop-in program for kids ages 6–12 that takes place after regular school hours on Mondays through Thursdays. Join our tutors and Teen Reading Ambassadors for homework help, reading recommendations, fun writing, STEAM, and enrichment activities—and even snacks! No need to register—just show up! Everything is free.

Come and play at Community Playdate! Celebrate the power of play and community connection—all while having fun! Designed for children of all ages and their caregivers, this playdate brings together our youngest learners to play and explore at their own pace and older learners to make new friends outside of school. PARENTS AND CAREGIVERS: Each child must be supervised by one adult at all times. There will be a designated space for babies and toddlers to play, and a designated space for children ages 6-12 to play. To keep this program safe and engaging, please note that we are unable to accommodate schools, daycares or other groups.
