About this event

A species of animal can become endangered or threatened due to many factors, some of which we can’t always control and some we can. A New Canaan Nature Center naturalist will use live animals and a multimedia presentation, so participants can learn about local animals’ stories and the positive behaviors that are helping these endangered species. Discover how YOU can be a champion for animal and plant diversity on our planet. Join staff from the 125th Street Library for a fun and exciting program about endangered species. We will be learning about the consequences of and reducing the effects of climate change. Join us! NYPL Green has been made possible thanks to the generous support of Con Edison.
