Join us for a very simple craft for very young preschoolers. This free art activity takes place at the QPL Kew Gardens Hills Branch and is designed for ages 0 months to 5 years.
Kickoff to Kindergarten is a fun, free program for children ages 3-4 and their caregivers. The program enables children to develop their early literacy skills and begin a lifelong love of reading! Parents and caregivers are guided to become confident in their ability to support their child’s development following a curriculum aligned with the Science of Reading.
Classes, which meet once a week (8 sessions in all), will focus on learning about dialogic reading techniques that can be used when sharing books with little ones. We’ll also have fun with a storytime that includes tips for promoting literacy at home, and so much more!
If you have any questions, or would like to register for this program, please email K2K@queenslibrary.org!
