This class is all about playful connection through songs, movement, sensory play, and simple routines. We’ll sing, dance, explore hands-on activities, and move through cozy, engaging play stations designed to spark interaction and joy. Children will have space to explore at their own pace while being gently supported to engage, imitate, and begin using words and gestures. All communication counts and is encouraged. Along the way, caregivers receive subtle modeling and coaching on how to support language through the fun you’re already having together. These sessions are relaxed, hands-on, and centered around making communication feel natural, meaningful, and fun. Each week, we’ll explore a new communication strategy through a playful theme. Themes might include seasonal explorations, movement-based play, or familiar everyday routines, all designed to create rich, meaningful opportunities for language. Strategies rotate weekly and offer simple, practical ways to support your child’s communication in everyday moments. After the 40-minute instructor led group, this class includes 15 minutes of Open Play

Bonjour Babies is a playful French Baby & Me class presented in collaboration with Tribeca Language x Chelsea Forest Play . Designed for babies and their caregivers, each class introduces French naturally through music, movement, storytelling, puppetry, sensory play, and other engaging activities. Little ones are exposed to useful first words and phrases through repetition, play, and familiar routines, creating an early foundation for language learning while having fun alongside their caregiver. Caregivers are an important part of the experience, learning simple French words, phrases, and strategies they can carry into everyday routines at home. No prior French experience is needed! Through this playful, developmentally appropriate approach, Bonjour Babies makes early French exposure feel natural, engaging, and connected to your baby’s world. Building regulation, coordination, and connection through movement and stories Led by a pediatric occupational therapist, this group works with children to strengthen motor, self-regulation, and social-emotional skills through story-based play. Each week, a new story is shared using visuals and sensory supports, followed by movement circuits, fine-motor crafts, and calming cool-downs. Designed for children who benefit from extra movement, sensory input, and supported social interaction, Story Play: Sensory & Motion turns storytelling into a full-body, multi-sensory experience. After the 40-minute instructor led group, this class includes 15 minutes of Open Play.
