Beginning September 1st, join Miss Zoe for a storytime designed especially for older toddlers and students preparing for kindergarten. We will sing songs, dance, read stories, color, and complete educational worksheets. This program will take place on Tuesdays at 5:00 pm (shortly before the branch's 6 pm closure) for the month of September--- and likely beyond. The official age range for the event is 3-5 (but any toddlers who can walk and students up to the age of 6 may attend). Children who cannot walk or will sit in their caretaker's lap should attend the storytime held at 10:30 am on Wednesdays instead.

Miss Zoe and the Heights Branch Library Staff welcome families and caretakers with very young children to attend our lap-sit storytime on Wednesdays at 10:30 am (beginning in Septmeber). This event will include stories, singing, and time for social play. It is especially designed for students ages 0-3 who do not yet attend school (even newborns and toddlers who cannot yet walk). Older students who already attend preschool or kindergarten are encouraged to instead attend our Pre-K Evening Storytime (held Tuesday evenings at 5).

Come read a few stories, sing, and dance with Ms. Aleks! This storytime is recommended for 6 months to 2 years. Registration information: This event is capacity-limited, due to space constraints and because a smaller group means a more focused, educational storytime! Attendees will be given a ticket upon entry to the Bonetti Room. Before we start storytime, we will collect tickets. No tickets = no entry to today's storytime. The doors will be closed at 11 AM, and no one will be admitted after this time until storytime is over at 11:30. The same books and songs will be read on Wednesdays and Thursdays! Please choose which one works best for your schedule.
