About this event

Come read aloud to KoKo the therapy dog, a dear friend of the library! Would you like to practice reading aloud with expression and fluency? Or would you like to spend time with a furry friend to bring a smile to your face? Well, you can do both by reading aloud to KoKo the Therapy Dog. Please sign up for a 10 minute slot to get cozy with KoKo and share a good book. We will provide a variety of books to choose. REGISTER HERE for your slot! This is not a drop-in event. Registration is required. (You may ONLY sign up on the above Sign-Up Genius link. Please sign up only once a month so that other children can have a turn.)

This program meets weekly on Saturdays for nine weeks, with an additional session on Friday, November 20 for showcase rehearsal. On Saturday, November 21, students will meet from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM for final the final dress rehearsal before presenting their cabaret-style showcase at 3:00 PM. Throughout the program, students will train in dance, vocals, and acting while working with their teachers to refine their pieces and performance skills. The experience culminates in a showcase featuring students’ favorite pieces for friends, family, and fans!
