About this event

Whether your daughter is new to the game or already loves soccer, this is a fun and welcoming opportunity to play and meet other girls in the community, meet our coaches, and be part of something exciting. We will focus on helping girls learn and improve fundamental skills so that they can master the ball, increase their creativity and have fun playing soccer! Once a week practice and in-house games and friendly games vs other clubs whenever possible. Age Group 7-9 Fall, Winter & Spring Schedule Wednesday from 4-5:30pm Indoors at Futbol Rebels Clubhouse in Bedstuy Weekend friendly games (times varies on Sundays depending on field permits) Commitment This is a 10 month commitment from September-June Registration Fee $1,350 for the season plus uniforms Monthly plans available Uniform fees vary between $150-$400. Players are required to purchase a practice jerseys, 1 game jersey, shorts, socks. We also have optional items suck as pants, jackets, backpacks and sweaters. Questions? Ages 1–2: Parent & Me Soccer This 30-minute soccer class is designed for young walkers, toddlers, and children experiencing a group activity for the first time. Parents or caregivers actively participate alongside their child. Activities focus on movement, balance, coordination, exploring the soccer ball, following simple directions, and becoming comfortable in the class environment. Children at this age are not expected to complete every activity. It is completely normal for them to observe, take breaks, wander, or need extra support from their grown-up. Class Location: Albert J Parham Playground (on Adelphi between Dekalb ave & Willoughby ave) We play in the handball courts Choosing the Right Class Class Age Groups: 1&2, 2&3, 3&4, 4&5 Our age ranges are guidelines. Families should select the class that best matches their child’s age, experience, independence, attention span, and comfort level. Children do not need to move into the next group immediately after their birthday. For example, a child who recently turned three may still be most comfortable in the Ages 2–3 class. A child who is three-and-a-half or approaching four and can participate more independently may be ready for the Ages 3–4 class. Our coaches may recommend a different group after observing a child if we believe another class would provide a better experience. Rain Policy We move our classes indoors at Futbol Rebels Clubhouse if we have rain in the radar. Our clubhouse is located on 260 Jefferson Avenue, Brooklyn 11216.

Ages 2–3: This 30-minute soccer class is a playful introduction to soccer for older two-year-olds and children who have recently turned three. Children will practice basic motor skills, become more comfortable using their feet, follow simple instructions, and participate in short games and activities. Parents may be asked to assist when needed, especially during a child’s first few classes. The goal is to gradually help children feel comfortable participating with the coach and group. Ages 3–4 This 45-minute class is recommended for older three-year-olds and younger four-year-olds who are ready for a little more structure. Children will work on dribbling, stopping the ball, changing direction, shooting, listening to instructions, taking turns, and playing games with their classmates. Activities remain playful and age-appropriate, but children should be able to participate with less parent assistance and remain engaged for longer periods. Ages 4–5 This 45-minute class is designed for older four-year-olds and five-year-olds who are ready to build more confidence and independence on the field. Children will practice dribbling, ball control, shooting, movement, teamwork, and simple decision-making through games and small-group activities. The focus is still on fun, but coaches will begin introducing more soccer-specific instruction and opportunities for children to play together.
