Join us for an incredible sensory adventure where your little ones can explore and learn through exciting, themed play. Our classes are designed for your children to lead the way! Step back, cheer them on, and enjoy the fun as they play, create, and discover on their own terms. Every class is packed with eight sensory stations that spark curiosity and joy, offering endless opportunities for your child’s discovery and fun. Experience the excitement each week as we introduce new textures, scents, and materials. This offers fresh sensory experiences while kids travel to outer space, investigate insects, learn about vehicles or play favorite books like 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar'. You'll find a new, engaging theme each week, but the types of stations remain the same: dry, messy, sculpture, make & take, vertical, big body, teeny tiny, and a book nook. This provides a familiar space for kids to take risks while enabling them to hone skills week after week. We do all of the messy stuff you don’t want to do at home. Don’t forget to dress to make a mess!! Make-Up Classes: Please cancel at least 2 hours before class. To do so, go to My Account > Calendar > select your class date > Request to Cancel. For members, the class goes back into your account. For non-members, you will receive a makeup token to rebook another time. All sales are final; we do not offer refunds. Important Location Note: Please verify that you are registered for the correct studio (Pleasantville or Larchmont). Wonder Lab is a process-based STEAM program designed to spark creativity, curiosity, and confidence in young children. Led by experienced instructors, each class blends hands-on science experiments with open-ended art exploration, giving children the opportunity to investigate, create, problem-solve, and learn through play. With a focus on both STEAM learning and social-emotional development, Wonder Lab encourages children to ask questions, try new ideas, and discover the joy of creating and experimenting. Make-Up Classes: We’re always happy to help you reschedule your class— just let us know at least 2 hours before it begins ! Each class begins with your little artist exploring a simple, artist-inspired process as we gather together to create. This guided art time is more than just making something—it’s a playful way to build essential fine motor skills through hands-on discovery. Children might stamp like Alma Thomas, dot like Yayoi Kusama, or swirl paint like Van Gogh as they practice pinching, pressing, peeling, and color mixing in a way that feels natural and fun. Rather than focusing on a finished product, we encourage exploration—giving children the freedom to experiment with materials, make choices, and create in their own unique way. Once our art exploration winds down, we transition into open-ended play across our themed sensory stations. This time is dedicated to sparking creativity and supporting early development through tactile play—inviting children to scoop, squish, pour, and engage their senses at their own pace. It’s a joyful, low-pressure environment where kids can build independence, explore new textures, and express themselves freely—making a happy (and artistic!) mess along the way.
