About this event

Join ShopRite's Northvale Dietitian Caitlin Krawitz as she teaches us how to make some delicious food! This class will make the following: - Cucumber boat - Peach parfait **All recipes are nut free! REGISTRATION REQUIRED. Children MUST be 4+ *****Registration is required and space is limited! Join Ms. Jen at the Demarest Gazebo for stories, songs, and fun. This 3-session September program is for infants to toddlers and their caregivers. No registration required! When the weather is nice, we'll meet at the Demarest Gazebo. Otherwise, we will meet at the Library. Check our online calendar or call the library the morning of for updates! When are the classes? Storytime is on Mondays from 10:30 - 11 AM. What if there is inclement weather? We will meet at the Library instead. There is limited space so we may not be able to accomodate everyone that may have come to the Gazebo. Call 201-768-8714 x 3 that morning to check where storytime will be held. Where are the classes held? Storytime meets once a week at the Demarest Gazebo lawn, under the shade of the trees. PLEASE bring a picnic blanket for you and your little one to be most comfortable. It is a good idea to bring water and sunscreen although we are mostly in the shade. After storytime, please feel free to stay and play on the lawn or meet back at the library and socialize with other parents and caregivers! Who is this class for? This class is for 0 to 4-year-olds and their caregivers. Caregivers must remain with children at all times.

Welcome to our new crafting event where parents/caretakers and their children can make crafts together! This month's craft will be Fingerprint Fall Tree! You and your child will work together to create their own fall tree using their hand for the trunk and their fingerprints for the leaves! Note: A Maximum of 3 children for each parent that registers! This event will be in the Demarest Community Room to allow for more space and less cramping

The “Mini-Megs” Program is a way for players to have fun and find their love of the sport while introducing them to their first games. Players take part in weekly fun, age-appropriate soccer skills, and motor skill activities. From that age group, we select players to join out Talent Development Center. The talent center is an essential choice for players ages 5 - 7 who are looking for a more demanding environment to transform their potential into talent. This Program is structured to expose the player to deliberate play. This is the most child appropriate way of developing, by optimizing confidence, physical attributes, social interaction, and high repetition of technical actions in soccer realistic situations. Not only does this format address the four pillars of a players development, but makes it athlete-centered to maximize fun. We provide weekely sessions and monthly small sided festival matches to allow our players to measure their skills, build character, communication, game awareness and fitness skills . All the games are played at one of the locations. From that age group, we will select top players to join our Travel program. The travel program is an essential choice for talented players who are ready and looking for a more engaging and demanding environment to pursue soccer as their sport and compete in the New York Club Soccer League against other team to measure their talent in the region.
