About this event

Wednesdays | 5:30 PM to 6:45 PM This Fall, come create with Spark Founder and Teaching Artist Sebastian Alappat on our beautiful six acre property in Kunkletown PA. Running on Wednesdays, September through December, Spark PA classes give children the opportunity to slow down, get creative, spend time outdoors, and develop their artistic skills in an environment unlike a traditional classroom. Our property becomes part of the experience. Students have access to both our indoor art studio and outdoor creative spaces, allowing lessons to move naturally between making art, exploring the land, practicing mindfulness, and connecting with the changing seasons. Every week is different. Students will explore drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed media, collaborative projects, and nature inspired art. Classes will also incorporate elements of yoga, breathwork, meditation, and outdoor exploration throughout the semester. Our goal is bigger than simply making great artwork. We want children to build confidence, curiosity, patience, creative problem solving skills, and a deeper relationship with themselves and the natural world. Less screens. More creating. More nature. More connection. Come create, explore, breathe, and discover what happens when children are given the space to truly Spark.
