About this event

Make a mask or help bring to life some wild, winged, wonderful creatures for our fantasy parade on October 31. Two sessions allow us the time to get creative, construct, and color with vibrant tissue paper. We will have supplies and simple templates to get you started. Bring your sense of imagination and be ready to get a little messy. Pre-register for limited studio space. Age 5+, Family friendly, children must be accompanied by adults.

Join us for our third annual scarecrow-making contest! This is a great chance for families or a group of friends to work together, be creative and have fun! All scarecrows made during this event will be displayed around the farm during our pumpkin-picking weekend. The public will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite scarecrow. The top three scarecrows will receive a Muscoot Farm themed prize. We will supply the hay, bamboo frame, twine and burlap for the head, and you bring everything you need to dress and decorate your scarecrow. This is a great chance to recycle clothing/hats/accessories! You may pick up your scarecrow beginning Monday, October 12. All scarecrows must be picked up by October 26. This cooking class is a great opportunity for the whole family to have a joint experience. During the lesson, children ages 3-18 will learn how to cook a dish from start to finish. Younger kids will work on simpler tasks, while older kids and teens will have the opportunity to work independently and acquire some advanced kitchen skills.
