About this event

Join us as we make a custom iron-on decal for a bright, colorful drawstring bag. Learn the basics of Cricut Design Space, a free design program, and then follow along with easy step by step instructions for creating your unique design on the Library's Cricut Maker 3 machine. All materials will be provided. This program is funded by the Lewis Fund and the Friends of the Ridgefield Library

Speedcubing fans in grades 1-6 (and their caregiver) are invited to join others to explore and learn more about combination puzzles and the speedcubing method! Led by local high school student and champion speedcuber, Quinn Maloney, this is a great chance to practice and build speedcubing skills. We ask that a caregiver remain in the area and assist their child with maintaining Library-level volume and interactions with other children. Join other interested gamers in grades 2-12 to learn the basics of playing the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) from educator Mike Garguilo. If you know the basics, learn strategies and deck-building tips to maximize your own deck. All levels welcome, and it is not necessary to own cards or a complete deck to participate. Registration is required for each session and opens one month before the start of each session. Due to the nature of this program and popularity, we cannot accept late arrivals after 4:35 pm. At this point your registration will be granted to the next present patron on the waitlist. Preference may be given to Ridgefield Residents as space is limited.
