This event will take place in person at 58th Street Library. Join the librarian for a rollicking storytime for babies aged 0-18 months and their caregivers. Children who can walk unassisted are asked to attend Toddler Storytime. There will be books, songs, rhymes, and fingerplays that will not only delight the little ones but also foster valuable early literacy skills. It’s a great opportunity for bonding and also meeting other children and caregivers in the community. *Online registration is required* Please note: Programs take place on the second floor. There is no elevator available, and stroller parking is VERY limited. Please consider wearing your baby in a carrier.

Join us for songs, rhymes, and favorite read-aloud books in this storytime that’s fun for young children 5 and under. Ideal for caregivers with multiple-aged children. ***HOW TO REGISTER*** 8 spots will be open for online registration each week, and another 8 spots will be held for walk-ins on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please register under the child's name. Tickets for walk-ins will be given out at 11 AM at the entrance to the library on the day of the program. Tickets for a waitlist will also be given out. If there are still spots available after 11:20 AM, families will be moved from the waitlist into the story time. The child must be present with their caregiver at the time of check-in. Online registrants must check-in by 11:20 AM at the entrance to the library. If you do not check-in by 11:20 AM, your spot will be given to a family on the waitlist. Wonder Kids After School offers an immersive experience in a unique natural setting. With props, costumes, building supplies, and mysterious mission scrolls , every day in the Wonder Village becomes a unique adventure where children develop their own games, characters and stories through free play. Our programs are designed for kids to deepen their relationships to nature, to each other, and to themselves. In Spring and Fall, this program will take place outside in a magical forest we call the Wonder Village . During winter, we create a hybrid indoor-outdoor experience based out of the Brooklyn Public Library and Mount Prospect Park so that kids can continue engaging in the natural world while also having access to a warm refuge. . At School of Wonder , we create immersive adventures in Prospect Park to foster curiosity, creativity, and wonder . Our after school, summer camps, and school holiday camps teach children to become Guardians of the Earth - protectors of the planet and all living beings.
