For all ages - Birth to 5-year-olds with a parent/ caregiver. Play is an important part of early literacy. Play helps children to express themselves and put thoughts into words and so much more. Join us for this weekly exploration in PLAY with other members of the community and help your little one build literacy through PLAY! Lottery opens: Monday, August 17, 2026 through Friday, August 28 , 2026 Notification email by Friday, September 4 , 2026 The FALL I Session lasts 6 weeks, starting Monday, September 14, 2026 and ending Friday, October 23, 2026 Registered storytimes are for Greenwich and Perrot Library card holders in good standing. Your registration is limited to a specific six-week series of storytimes. Storytime runs on a six week cycle September 14-October 23. When registering, only register your child/ children. Lastly, only register for one class per session. CLICK HERE FOR THE LOTTERY For birth to 5-year-olds with a parent/ caregiver This interactive parent and child program will focus on exploring storytime and related multi-sensory activities! The activities will be adjusted to sensory needs of the children and adapted to encourage exploration by children of all abilities. There will be opportunities to encourage developmental milestones, sensory processing, and bonding with your child. Each session will be structured yet flexible to meet the needs of the children in the group, including transition practice and calming opportunities as needed. Join us at Greenwich Library for music time with performer Tom Weber. The program will be held in Marx Family Black Box Theater on the lower level. Tom's performances are filled with interactive movement, props, singing, dancing, and lots of energetic fun! His repertoire includes original songs as well as traditional favorites. Tom’s music is intended to get children moving, singing, feeling confident, and having fun! A ticket will be required to attend the program. Tickets will be distributed starting at 10:00 am outside the Black Box Theater and doors will open at 10:25 am for this 10:30 am program. Please arrive on time at the start of the program.
