About this event

Join Miss Dajana for Tales for Tots Storytime series with songs, rhymes, felts, and special books! This class is for those who are 18-36 months old with a caregiver. REGISTRATION FOR THIS CLASS IS FOR EACH INDIVIDUAL DATE. Please pick the days you are available and sign up for those dates. This storytime takes place in the community room and is a large class.

Let’s come together and give back to our community! Join New Canaan CARES and New Canaan Library, with the helping hands of New Canaan Girl Scouts, to get crafty and create projects reflecting kindness and caring. Children will share their creations to bring joy to others and to themselves. This month, we will use our crafts to thank the first responders and veterans who keep us safe. New Canaan CARES is an independent, non-profit community organization whose purpose is to advance the health and well-being of youth and families. This program is in partnership with New Canaan CARES and New Canaan Library.

3D Design Project for Grades 4-7: Hinged Box

Each month we will take on a 3D design project using a CAD software. This month we will be creating a print-in-place hinged box in Tinkercad. Some 3D design experience in Tinkercad or similar program is helpful but not required. Please note that due to the time it takes to 3D print an object, finished projects may need to be picked up after the class. You will receive a confirmation email when your finished printed project is ready for pick up. For students in grades 4-7. Registration opens October 1 at 8am.
