Experience the thrill of TIA Soccer on the field with us! Pickup from 770 Jackson/Miles Square, Jubilee Center, and Hoboken Catholic: Available on MONDAYS, WEDNESDAYS, AND THURSDAYS. You must choose the add-on option before checkout. Join us at TIA Soccer, where everyone scores BIG! Our main objective is to implement our playful and democratic teaching style to engage all students in the class. Our dedicated coaches will describe and model age-appropriate drills and games that focus on the fundamental skills of soccer, including gameplay, passing, shooting, throwing, dribbling, teamwork, and defense. To foster individual growth and self-confidence, we introduce a new skill every two weeks. These skills not only enhance their physical conditioning and strength but also reinforce fundamental abilities. We emphasize sportsmanship during bi-weekly scrimmages, ensuring fair play and promoting a positive attitude. Throughout the program, our highly trained TIA coaches create a high-energy, fun environment where athletes learn soccer fundamentals, grasp the rules of the game, improve their overall fitness, and enhance their social and emotional competence. Join us on the field with TIA Soccer and witness the incredible growth and enjoyment your child will experience under the guidance of our dedicated coaches. Welcome to TIA Cheer: a first-of-its-kind Hoboken cheerleading class! Our program is geared toward those interested in learning all about cheerleading in a fun, inclusive and non-competitive environment. Created and taught by former national all-star cheerleading champion and Hoboken mom Michelle Mazurkiewicz, we focus on introducing and honing the fundamental elements of cheerleading including motions, jumps, cheer, dance, stunts, performance and more. We’ll also focus on confidence, positivity and strength -- all while having a blast and learning a lot! Each semester culminates with a showcase for our cheerleaders to demonstrate all they have learned to their families. This Fall 2026 semester will consist of 12 drop-off classes and is open to grades K-3 who have participated in at least one TIA Cheer session in the past. Class Dates: 9/11, 9/18, 9/25, 10/9, 10/16, 10/23, 10/30, 11/13, 11/20, 12/4, 12/11, 12/18 (showcase on 12/18 at end of class) Time : 3:30-5 pm Location: The Inner Athlete / Monroe Center C-409 *Includes a green bow with a hair tie attached. Welcome to Sluggers, an exciting 45-minute to 1-hour class focused on sports that requires active participation from parents or caregivers. This engaging program is specially designed for children aged 18 months to 3 years, focusing on developing their coordination, strength, balance, and locomotor skills through sports-based activities. Within a supportive group setting, children will have numerous opportunities to enhance essential social skills like sharing, following directions, and interacting with their peers. Additionally, the 1-hour class includes dedicated time for free sports play, allowing kids to explore and enjoy a variety of sports. Each week, our curriculum follows a consistent, progressive routine, ensuring that children benefit from a structured, fun-filled experience. The activities we offer are tailored to align with the sport introduced that week. From hockey and basketball to tennis, bowling, volleyball, soccer, track and field, baseball, and more – every sport is carefully selected to be age-appropriate and enjoyable for the little ones. While adults actively participate in the class, our ultimate goal is to foster participants' growth, promoting their confidence and independence with each passing week. Welcome to The Rookie Class at The Inner Athlete! This sport-focused class offers an immersive 45-minute or 60-minute experience, tailored for children aged 2.5 to 3.5 years. While parent or caregiver participation is optional, we encourage their involvement based on each child's needs. Please note that this class is not a drop-off program. The Rookie Class is designed to foster essential skills such as coordination, strength, balance, and locomotor abilities. Throughout the sessions, children will have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of various sports. Our engaging group setting creates a supportive environment for kids to practice sharing, following directions, and socializing with their peers. In addition to structured activities, the one-hour class incorporates open play sports time. This allows the young athletes to explore and enjoy different sports in a fun and uninhibited manner. Our curriculum follows a consistent, exciting routine. Alongside sports instruction, we incorporate music, parachute time, and a range of gross- and fine-motor activities that align with the sport introduced each week.
