Introduce your child to the exciting world of robotics, engineering, and coding with VEX GO Robotics ! Designed for elementary school students, this hands-on STEM class encourages creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork through engaging engineering challenges. Using the VEX GO Robotics System, students build and program a variety of robots while exploring real-world engineering concepts. Through fun, project-based activities, they learn how simple machines work, develop mechanical building skills, and discover how sensors, motors, and mechanisms work together to solve problems. Students bring their creations to life using VEXcode , a beginner-friendly block-based programming platform that introduces coding concepts in an engaging and accessible way. As they design, test, and improve their robots, they also learn the Engineering Design Process, computational thinking, and problem-solving strategies used by real engineers. Each lesson presents a new challenge that encourages students to collaborate, think creatively, and apply STEM concepts in a fun and supportive learning environment. Students will: Build and engineer robots using the VEX GO Robotics System Learn the fundamentals of coding with VEXcode block programming Explore simple machines, gears, motors, and sensors Develop engineering, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills Practice teamwork, communication, and creativity Gain confidence through hands-on STEM projects No prior robotics or coding experience is required. This class is perfect for students who are ready to explore engineering and robotics through interactive, hands-on learning. *Make-ups and cancelations: For semester registrations only one make-up class per month is allowed with a 24hr cancellation notice. Late cancellation fee: If a client provides less than 24 hours notice and wishes to schedule a makeup class, 50% of the class fee will be charged and processed through their Sawyer account. Payment Plan: For semester registrations, payments can be paid in full or split into monthly installments. The monthly installments can be paid through HiSawyer registration platform only. Please note that a 5% surcharge applies when selecting a monthly installment plan. Take flight with our exciting Drone Lab! In this hands-on program, students learn to program and pilot real drones using beginner-friendly coding tools. Whether starting with block-based coding or progressing to Python, students explore how drones are used in real-world missions—from search-and-rescue to high-tech delivery. We use CoDrone EDU, a classroom-ready programmable drone equipped with a front range sensor, bottom range sensor, color sensors, and more. Each session challenges students to code flight paths, solve real-world problems, and complete drone missions in —building logic, creativity, and teamwork skills in the classroom and for competitions. No experience required—just a curiosity for tech and a love for flight! *Make-ups and cancelations: For semester registrations only one make-up class per month is allowed with a 24hr cancellation notice. Intro to Robotics is an 12-weeks introductory course designed to make learning fun for kids! This course focuses on robotics, engineering, coding, physics, and math. Throughout this course, children will use LEGO pieces to construct their own robots and learn to control them using simple computer programs. Our teaching philosophy emphasizes hands-on learning experiences.
