This summer, join Library Chef Junior for three exciting days of cooking, learning, and fun! Designed for pre-teens and teens, this LIVE ONLINE Summer Camp will help young cooks build confidence in the kitchen while creating delicious, family-friendly meals alongside our chef instructor. Register with Library Chef using your Mahwah Library Card to secure your seat at the table and to access a curated collection of live classes and an exclusive video library filled with culinary insights. It’s perfect for culinary explorers eager to learn at their own pace. It's National Rice Month! Kids will roll up easy, delicious burritos stuffed with rice, beans, and melty cheese. AI Literacy for the Digital Age is a hands-on course designed for students who want to understand the technology shaping their world — no coding experience required. Through interactive, browser-based activities, students will explore the core ideas behind artificial intelligence by actually using real AI systems: training their own image classifiers, competing against neural networks, debating whether AI should make decisions in hiring and healthcare, and learning to spot deep fakes and AI-generated content. Each session brings a new corner of AI to life, from natural language processing and generative AI to robotics, recommendation systems, and pattern recognition. We will provide ten laptops for participants, but you may attend with your own device if preferred.
