Let's celebrate culture, creativity, and community! Come and learn how to do "Papel Picado" a traditional Mexican art. Ms. Mariella Mariella will introduce some vocabulary words in Spanish and English as well as geometry concepts, patterns and color recognition. Design your own banner using safety scissors and tissue paper. Supplies will be provided for children and their families. No registration is required. Ages: 3-12.

Armelle Gloaguen, award-winning artist and educator, is an experienced teacher and an accomplished singer, songwriter and guitarist. Join us for an educational multicultural music show. Ages 0-5. This is a multi-sensory program that includes visuals, movement and music. Riis Park is located directly in front of the library. Please bring a blanket or chair to enjoy the program. This program is sponsored by the Harrison Public Library Foundation. Please note if it rains the program may move indoors and 40 tickets will be given out for entry to the performance. 1 ticket per family, first come, first serve.
