Music & Movement at American Youth Dance Theater

Mon, Nov 9 · 10:35 AM

American Youth Dance Theater · Lenox Hill

Who We Are: Join us for 45 minutes of music and movement! Designed by two NYC moms, our lesson plan facilitates child development in a way that is fun for both children and their caretakers. Each class is led by Broadway-caliber performers, with expertise in a variety of genres and styles. Your child will gain practical physical, emotional, and mental skills through the lens of ballet, musical theatre, modern pop, Motown, and more! We can't wait to sing and dance with you and your family! Location Specific Information: This class is held in a ballet studio. While there will be yoga mats to sit on, if you would like extra padding for you or your child, we recommend bringing your own blanket and/or mat as well. AYDT has been very kind to let us linger in their lobby to give the children lunch. They do ask that we are mindful of crumbs and trash, and that we clean up after ourselves. Teachers typically arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the start of class. If you have any trouble, please call/text us at: (Sarah) 646-469-1777, (Maegan) 646-725-7457. Location Closures: * NO CLASS WEEK OF THANKSGIVING, CHRISTMAS, AND NEW YEARS * NO CLASS 1/8, AND 2/14-2/20 What We Provide: Shakers Tambourines Scarves Hoops Balls *Please note that props may vary from class to class* Learn More About Us Here: Our Website Our Instagram
