Our Young Learners Korean Class is specially designed for 5-year-old children who are ready to begin their Korean language journey in a fun, engaging, and age-appropriate environment. This play-based program introduces students to Korean through songs, games, movement activities, storytelling, crafts, and hands-on cultural experiences. Students will build foundational Korean vocabulary and conversational skills while developing confidence in listening and speaking. Class activities include: Korean language learning through play Songs, movement, and storytelling Introduction to Hangul (Korean reading and writing) Korean arts and crafts Hands-on cooking activities Cultural celebrations and traditions Social and cooperative learning experiences The Young Learners Class provides a larger classroom setting that encourages exploration, creativity, and active participation while helping students develop a love for the Korean language and culture. A summer all about creativity, adventure, and immersion in nature. How does that sound to you? If it is a YES, join us. Theme & Field Trip: Week 10: Aug 31 - Sept 3 | Street Art Bring the city to life with color! Campers will explore street art through painting, drawing, and creating bold designs inspired by murals, graffiti, and urban textures. With plenty of outdoor space, we’ll make fun, messy, and imaginative art Field trip: Socrates Sculpture Park/MoMA PS1 (*Field trips are subject to change) Class Experience Outdoor Adventures : Whenever possible, we head to nearby parks to create, explore, and connect with nature. Fun & Meaningful Art Projects: Children will dive into a wide range of themed projects inspired by their daily lives, art movements and the world around them. They’ll experiment with painting, sculpture, collage, printmaking, and more—using both traditional and non-traditional materials and techniques. Field Trips* : We are aiming to visit exciting places like museums, farms, and zoos to bring each week’s theme to life in a fun and educational experience. (*Field trips are subject to change) Sample Schedule: 8:30am: early drop-off 9am - 9:45am: regular drop off + activity #1 9:45 - 10:15: heading to the park (when possible) 10:15 - 10:30: snacks 10:30 - 11:30: Activity #2 (outside at the park) 11:30-12:00: break/games 12-1: lunch 1-1:30: head back to the studio 1:30 - 2:45: Activity #3 2:45 - 3:00: break, wrap-up & regular pick-up 3:00 - 5:00: (extended day) activity #4 5pm: (extended day) pick-up Notes: Our summer camps are for children ages 4–10 years old. Full-day camp runs from 9 AM–3 PM. Early drop-off and extended hours are available for an additional cost. Full-week camp registration only. We are planning to be outdoors most of our mornings. Gantry State Park is our outdoor location. ~7' - 10' walk from our studio The walking and outdoor activity may be challenging for some younger 4-year-olds.
