PLEASE NOTE: To be eligible to participate in this program, players (boys or girls) must be born between 2019 and 2020 and have some soccer experience in addition to an interest in playing travel soccer within 1-2yrs. This program is ideal for kids who are ready for more structure and challenge. Practices focus on technical skill development and a deeper understanding of the game in a fun, supportive environment. Players are grouped by age and ability, and sessions are led by our USSF & USC licensed professional coaches. The pre-travel program's purpose is to give interested children access to professional training curriculum and to prepare them for the travel soccer competition. Over the past years Soccer Legion FC has offered all girls and boys the ability to try out for the Accelerated Soccer Program. The program has been an enormous success. We're thrilled to launch our very own in-house game series: Our Legion Little League — a small-sided internal league for our Pre-Travel players! Instead of traveling to other clubs, your child will play 5v5 games (including goal keeper) against fellow pre-travel participants. It’s all the fun and excitement of league play without the long commutes — more touches, more goals, more fun! Games will be held on select weekends under the supervision of our coaching staff. Final location, days, and times will be confirmed prior to the start of the season. Teams rotate matchups to maximize development and excitement throughout the season. We will do everything in our power to keep girls and boys seperated. However, if numbers are low on a particualar weekend, we will mix boys and girls as long as it is developmentally appropriate to do so. Our coaches will use their best judgement to evaluate. Girls and boys born in 2019 and 2020 are recommended to start with our Pre-Travel program. Commitment: Attendance at training sessions is crucial. We staff our best coaches with the younger ages because we believe the beginning is the most important part of any work. And because we believe the game to be the best teacher, we strongly recommend children to play as many games as possible. Selection of travel teams at the end of the year, will be partially based on commitment demonstrated throughout the year and improvements made. Players born in 2019 will get first look. Camps are also a great way for players to develop while having fun. Pre-travel and travel soccer are not appropriate for all players. Please review the following terms based on how you booked your program: Bookings Made Through Sawyer's Marketplace: If you choose to cancel your booking up to 48 hours before the start of the first class, we offer a credit towards a future program. No refunds will be issued for marketplace bookings. Bookings Made Directly Through Our Website (www.soccerlegion.com): Free cancellation and a full refund are available up to 48 hours before the start of the program. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the start of the program are non-refundable.
