Embark on a musical odyssey with Global Grooves ! Led by musician and early childhood specialist Sagit Shir , this unique journey takes your little ones through the vibrant rivers of the Congo, the playful playgrounds of Mexico City, and the enchanting streets of Paris. Through captivating storytelling , Sagit seamlessly weaves together songs, nursery rhymes, and lullabies from cultures around the world, creating an immersive, adventure-filled experience. Your child will be introduced to multiple languages, fostering a deep appreciation for global diversity and musical heritage from an early age. Why Expose Your Child to Multiple Languages? Studies show that children who learn multiple languages during their critical early years develop stronger linguistic, cognitive, and social-emotional skills, setting a foundation for lifelong learning and adaptability. What parents are saying about Global Grooves: "Sagit is the baby whisperer, she has my 8 month old mezmorized" "I like how relaxing the class is but also really engaging. Most baby music classes are overstimulating but Global Grooves is my favorite class." "Our daughter has truly blossomed in wonderful ways during Sagit’s class. Her warm and thoughtful approach, along with her creative teaching methods have made a huge impact on our daughter!" "Sagit curates a fun and memorable mix of songs from around the world, introducing the kids to a wide range of musical styles, rhythms, and languages in a way that feels joyful and accessible. The class is playful but also thoughtfully structured, and it is clear how much care goes into each session. The energy she creates is upbeat and welcoming. Can't recommend it highly enough!"

Art Lab After-School Ages 4.5 to 9 Pickup Available from PS 84, CE Montessori, and Brooklyn Arbor Program Hours: 3:00 to 5:30 PM Step into Art Lab After-School , an elevated studio experience designed for kids ages 4.5 to 9 who are ready to deepen their creativity, experiment with new techniques, and work in a more independent, emergent art studio setting. This afterschool program encourages kids to brainstorm, explore, collaborate, and create in a space that feels like a true working art lab. We also listened closely to our current artists, who have shared with their teachers how much they love the idea of developing their own collaborative focus as they grow and learn together as a group. This feedback has shaped Art Lab in a beautiful way, giving kids ownership, agency, and a voice in the direction of our studio projects. During programming, children dive into open-ended, process-based projects shaped by their interests. They will explore a wide range of elevated mediums including mixed-media collage, painting, sculpture, clay work, printmaking, weaving, upcycled art, installation building, design challenges, and collaborative group pieces. With a focus on artistic voice and self-expression, kids are encouraged to take creative risks, problem-solve, and proudly share their ideas. What Makes Art Lab Special A more independent, big-kid studio flow Choice-based stations and long-form projects Opportunities to brainstorm, plan, and revisit work Encouraging guidance from experienced teaching artists A collaborative environment where friendships and ideas grow Child voice and group interests help shape the direction of the studio Weather permitting, children enjoy outdoor time to reset, move, and decompress before or after focused studio work. Schedule Options Families may choose Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or both. Pickup is available from PS 84, CE Montessori, and Brooklyn Arbor. Helpful Info Program runs 3:00 to 5:30 PM Please pack a snack Nut, peanut, and sesame free studio Small group sizes for individualized attention A nurturing, energetic studio that honors each child’s curiosity and creative voice We can’t wait to welcome your child back into the studio and welcome new familes to Art Lab After-School , where ideas come alive, creativity grows, and confidence and imagination thrive!
