Ages 2–3 | Fall 2026 A Gentle First Step Into Preschool Learning What to Expect Fall 2026 Session Tuesday Cohort 9:00 AM-10:15 AM or 10:45 AM-12:00 PM Wednesday Cohort 2:00 PM-3:15 PM Stepping Stones Academy Stepping Stones Academy is a thoughtfully designed enrichment program created for toddlers who are ready to build confidence, independence, and foundational school-readiness skills—all while learning through play. This is not a drop-off program. A parent or caregiver remains onsite throughout each class, allowing children to explore new experiences while having the comfort and security of knowing their grown-up is nearby. Our intentionally small class sizes provide individualized attention while fostering friendships, confidence, and a positive introduction to a structured classroom environment. Throughout our semester, children will participate in engaging, hands-on learning experiences that encourage curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning. Each class includes opportunities for: Morning Meeting & Circle Time Early literacy and language development Fine motor and pre-writing activities Sensory exploration Process art and creative expression Music and movement Social-emotional learning Early math concepts Science discovery Classroom routines and independence-building skills Children will also practice important preschool readiness skills, including: Following simple directions Taking turns and sharing Transitioning between activities Participating in group learning Building confidence while working independently Developing friendships and communication skills Practicing self-help skills and classroom responsibility Families may choose from one of the following cohorts: Session Dates for BOTH times September 8 September 15 September 22 September 29 October 6 October 13 October 20 October 27 November 3 November 10 Reserved Make-Up Class: Tuesday, November 17, 2026 2:00 PM – 3:15 PM Session Dates September 9 September 16 September 23 September 30 October 7 October 14 October 21 October 28 November 4 November 11 Reserved Make-Up Class: Wednesday, November 18, 2026 Tuition: $420 for the semester To ensure every child is prepared for success, enrollment in Stepping Stones Academy requires: Completion of 10 Schoolhouse educational classes prior to the start of the academy. Children must be between 24–36 months of age at the start of the semester. A parent or caregiver must remain onsite during each class. Families should be committed to attending consistently, as each week builds upon the previous lesson and classroom experience. The required 10 Schoolhouse educational classes are an important part of the Stepping Stones journey. They allow children to become familiar with our teachers, classroom routines, expectations, and learning environment before entering the academy. By the time the semester begins, children are comfortable in the classroom, confident with transitions, and ready to thrive in a more structured educational setting. Stepping Stones Academy bridges the gap between parent-and-child classes and traditional preschool by nurturing the whole child in a warm, encouraging environment. Our goal is not only to prepare children for preschool but to foster confidence, independence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning. Every activity is intentionally planned to support each child's academic, social, emotional, and developmental growth while creating meaningful memories alongside their caregiver.
