Does your child love art? Join us on Mondays from 5:30 - 6:20 for a fun and creative series of art and design classes taught by Alexis Starke this fall. We will explore a range of materials and techniques in both 2D and 3D art and design, drawing inspiration from a variety of sources from contemporary artists, art history, and the natural world to name a few. 9/11 Community Quilt: Create Your Square (throughout September)

Stop by anytime to create a quilt square to share your memories, honor loved ones, or to express gratitude for all of our first responders. This is a community event for all ages. Welcome to the Mini Makers Lab , a hands-on, creative workshop where young artists can explore, design, and bring imaginative projects to life! Each month, we dive into a brand-new seasonal theme using a variety of tactile materials, crafting techniques, and open-ended maker-space fun. Whether they are sculpting, painting, or assembling unique keepsakes, children are encouraged to experiment, express their creativity, and connect with fellow creators in a warm, inspiring studio environment. 🗓️ Fall / Winter 2026 Schedule & Themes: October 18 | Halloween & Day of the Dead Get spooky and vibrant! Artists will design festive crafts celebrating the spirit of the season, blending playful Halloween projects with colorful, traditional-inspired Day of the Dead creations. November 19 | Thanksgiving & Gratitude Create with heart. This session focuses on thankfulness, featuring cozy, heartfelt crafts and personalized keepsakes designed to celebrate family, friends, and appreciation. December 13 | Holidays & Gift Making Made with love. Skip the store-bought gifts this year! Camp PiP Saturday Morning

This half-day experience offers the same beloved structure as our full-week camp, distilled into a vibrant three-hour session. Each Saturday morning, children dive into a world of joyful play and creative expression, where mindfulness practices like yoga and breathwork are naturally woven into a morning filled with laughter and discovery. Our time together is a balanced blend of high-energy fun and quiet reflection. Students engage in themed art projects, collaborative board games, and plenty of creative play, all while our educators guide them in using mindfulness tools to navigate their emotions and social dynamics. Whether we are exploring the studio or taking our practice outdoors to enjoy the fresh Piermont air, your child will leave with a sense of calm, a boost of confidence, and a heart full of Saturday morning memories. Our adventures extend far beyond the mat. Weather permitting, we spend our days exploring the beauty of Piermont—walking nature trails, visiting the local library and playgrounds, and enjoying water play in our garden. Between structured activities, students have dedicated time for creative play and board games, allowing our educators to support them in real-time. Whether they are joining us for a day or a full week, your child will return home with a bag full of art, a heart full of stories, and a calmer, more confident sense of self.
