The performance features singer, songwriter, and pianist Christine Spero—a USA Songwriting Competition Jazz Category winner who recorded with Neil Sedaka in her youth—alongside her partner, multi-instrumentalist and producer Elliot Spero. Together for over 25 years, they perform as a duo or with a full backing band, bringing their unique nu-jazz and Latin-fusion sensibilities to classics like “The Look of Love,” “Raindrops Keep Fallin' on My Head,” and “What the World Needs Now Is Love” Held at the Orangeburg Library, sponsored by the Mighty Five Libraries.
