Join us for our new book club for children in kindergarten and 1st grade. We will read a picture book about our specific theme for that month. Then we'll discuss the story, ask and answer questions, and draw out some of our favorite parts of the story and share with our friends in the book club. Snacks provided too! Registration required. The Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze returns to Van Cortlandt Manor in Croton-on-Hudson. The gourd-geous event features more than 7,000 hand-carved, illuminated jack o’lanterns arranged in jaw-dropping shapes, including dinosaurs and a carousel. Guests take a self-guided walk through the display and can stop at the Gourd & Goblet Tavern or the Headless Horseman Hideaway for spooky sips and haunting visits from the Horseman himself.
