Does your child love art? Join us on Mondays from 5:30 - 6:20 for a fun and creative series of art and design classes taught by Alexis Starke this fall. We will explore a range of materials and techniques in both 2D and 3D art and design, drawing inspiration from a variety of sources from contemporary artists, art history, and the natural world to name a few. Throughout the month of September, we will be creating a paper Community Quilt commemorating the 25th anniversary of 9/11. Stop by anytime to create a quilt square to share your memories, honor loved ones, or to express gratitude for all of our first responders. This is a community event for all ages. A rainbow of art supplies is ready for you in the Hudson River Room.
