Let's shell-abrate our friends with fins! Explore the natural world around us. These programs will connect children and their parents through short stories, walks, and hands-on activities. Class will be held in the Environmental Education and Resiliency Center in Field 1 of Hempstead Lake State Park. $4 per child upon arrival at the front desk. No vehicle fees in effect. Reservations are required for all programs, each child needs their own ticket. Space is limited. If you are unable to keep your reservation, please cancel so others may have the opportunity to attend. Please try to arrive at least 15 minutes early. For four week-long sessios, young Explorers (ages 5-7) and Discoverers (ages 8-10) will dive into a curated schedule of workshops, creative crafts, and immersive play—all under the guidance of our dedicated staff and designed to ignite a passion for science, art, and innovation. Each session runs Monday through Friday with Morning Session (9:30am – 12:30pm) and Afternoon Session (1:00pm – 4:00pm) .
