Join us for our VIRTUAL program on Zoom. Families enjoy stories and activities designed to encourage brain development and early learning practices. Each week, we explore a different theme: READING, TALKING, SINGING, PLAYING, MOVEMENT, and EMOTIONS. We read books, sing songs in Spanish and English, dance, learn a word in American Sign Language, and more! Parents and caregivers will learn how to use these practices to develop their children’s oral language and pre-reading skills. This program has an ASL interpreter and a fluent Spanish speaker. Zoom link is sent to registered emails. You only need to register once and then you will be added to our mailing list.

FALL CLASS: Thursdays Traditional Arts

In our Traditional Arts Class, children are introduced to traditional crafts and artistic practices from cultures around the world. Past projects have included weaving, basketry, papermaking, bookbinding, fabric dyeing, jewelry making, metalwork, stone carving, and much more. Students receive personalized, in-depth instruction and have opportunities to work with a wide variety of tools, techniques, and materials. Alongside these hands-on creative experiences, students learn about world cultures, mythology, and traditional customs. This class is designed for sincere and dedicated young artists with a passion for creative processes, traditional craftsmanship, and cultural exploration. Rooted in a spirit of camaraderie and collaboration, our classes cultivate a supportive community where students encourage one another, share ideas, and grow both as artists and as individuals. Classes also include outdoor exploration, where students discover medicinal and edible plants, learn practical survival and nature-awareness skills, and foster a deeper connection with the natural world. Additionally, students are taught traditional comtemplative techniques including visualizations and breathwork. Dates: 12 Classes: Thursdays, Sept 17 - Dec 17, 2026. Music with Miles - a 45-Minute Grownup-and-Me Music Class

Music with Miles is a forty-five minute “grown-up and me” music class for ages 0-3. The class features live music and is led by professional musical performers and teaching artists. Music with Miles is designed to sow the seeds of appreciation for music and rhythm at an early age, as well as to help your little one reach age-appropriate benchmarks through gross motor skill development and number, letter, and shape recognition. The class features a blend of classic nursery rhyme and children’s singalong songs as well as contemporary pop songs, and the Music with Miles team makes sure to always create a fun experience for kids and their grownups alike. *Prospect Park Location: Closest entrance from street is Ocean Avenue/Lincoln Road. Through songs, sensory-friendly props, and age-appropriate instruments, your baby will explore sound, rhythm, and movement at their own pace. The class is designed to support early milestones — from tummy time and sitting up to clapping, waving, and first steps — while building a foundation for a lifelong love of music.
