From $346The Sound Of Music... Design (Gr 8-12)
Stage Left Children's Theatre North · Tappan
Are you interested in technical theatre? Sound is one of the most important parts of any live show. It can make or break a performance. A good mixmakes all of the difference, but what actually goes into it? From themics to the console to the speakers, everything matters. Every show is a complex web of choices made to enhance what’s actually happening on stage. And you can learn it!!! In this class we will learn about signal flow (how sound gets from the actor to the mic and into the air), industry standard mixing and mic techniques, the science of sound, how to hear in a more precise way, and so much more! You will also have the opportunity to assist on mixing one of our Stage Left Workshop Performances live, as well as several shows that have been pre-recorded. *** If you like tech classes....check out our Scene Shop which you can take in conjuntion with this Sound Course and us our discount code of bts2026
