We create art based on imaginative topics and seasonal themes and we discover a huge range of art media in varying styles through different projects every day. So whether you love to draw, paint, or experiment with mixed media and 3D objects, you'll emerge with original pieces and exciting results. Camp projects are based on a variety of inspiring subjects and seasonal themes like the Earth and other planets, space (think aliens, robots, spaceships, stars!), architecture, our beloved Brooklyn Bridge, the natural world, fantasy worlds, travel, modern masters, portraits, pop stars, and just oh so much more. We will also take inspiration and study techniques of famous artists to learn to employ these techniques in teens' art. If your teen is allowed to self-dismiss, please add a note at check-out. Have a million canvases lying around from your time at camp? Bring them back to us and we’ll reuse them! Our Stop Morion Animation Camp runs on the same dates as our Art Camps offered for Kids 7-15 Animator campers work individually on their own projects and explore a variety of materials to create stop-motion objects, set, figures + props using paper, clay, drawings, Lego, and other materials. Campers learn how to set their characters in cool scenes + storytelling techniques. Add cool themes, titles, sound effects + special effects to give your movies that unique touch. Please Note Animation Camps require all students to bring the following: An iPad with a working back camera is required for this camp. An appropriate charger for your device. We do NOT supply tablets + children will not be able to share because they will be working on their own individual project. Siblings who are participating will need their own device to complete their own film projects.
