We are excited to get your player started on their soccer journey, so check out the info below and if you have any questions don’t hesitate to reach out. Our Mini kicks toddler soccer classes is for players 18 months to 24 months and are a great introduction to soccer in a social environment. Join our fantastic coaches on the field who will lead the players through a series of games focusing on basic soccer skills that will help with develop fine motor skills. Will they pay attention and be able to do all the drills in the first class? Maybe, maybe not! We have to remember that listening to a stranger give instructions isn't the norm for them yet and saying you can't use your hands can be a shock at first and patience/consistency is key! They will grow, have fun, and they will learn the basic building blocks to help them as they become more confident in their abilities.

Join us for our extended play afterschool clinics at The Post BK. Parents can drop players off for the 2 hour clinic or we can arrange pick up from PS31 or PS34. Optional FREE school pick up Monday (PS31/34), Tuesday (PS31/34), Wednesday (PS110/PS31) & Thursday (PS31/34) for full term bookings. PICK UP NOT AVAILABLE FOR DROP IN BOOKINGS School end until 5pm Drop off is ok 5, 6, 7 & 8yr old players The clinics will take place on one of the basketball courts so no cleats are allowed. Our coach will lead the players through a series of organized mini games that help to develop listening skills, balance, running, playing as a group, basic ball skills and foot-eye coordination. Most players in this age group are starting to go to school and have a better understanding of using their listening ears, however it may take some time getting used to listening to an adult that isn't their parent, caregiver or teacher and that's ok! We will practice using our listening ears every week in class. Although we don’t expect every single player to be able to focus on their first day, this does get better every week. Once they become accustomed to the routine and our coaches they will pay attention more and more as the weeks progress.

If you have played multiple seasons in this age group, check out our experienced classes on Saturday morning for players who already have a basic understanding of the game. During the class our coaches will lead the players through a series of organized mini games that help to develop listening skills, balance, running, playing as a group, basic ball skills and foot-eye coordination. In this class in particular, they will start to play 1v1s and scrimmage as a team.

Welcome to our soccer classes for girls! This is new to our program and we are excited to kick this off this spring at our new location. For those of you who have played in our 4&5 year old classes you may be asking what it next well in this age group we are going to continue to build on those foundations whilst also introducing a more team oriented environment. If your player is new to soccer, no worries the classes cater for beginner players and will introduce and work on the soccer fundamentals. 5-7 Year Old Classes: Skill Development & Game Awareness Longer activities More structured skill-based games Competitive 1v1 challenges Clear objectives (score, defend, protect the ball) More organized scrimmages (3v3, 4v4) Will they pay attention and be able to do all the drills in the first class? Every single child is different! Some students get it right away and others need a little bit more time to get used to the game, and to our coaches. Once they become accustomed to the routine and to our coaches they will pay attention more and more as the weeks progress. Cognitive mental development in 6-8yr olds Kids in this age group still love games and imagination. Their attention span is becoming a little longer but it is inconsistent. They can focus on one task longer (not as many changes in activities). These kids talk a lot and ask a lot of questions. Their interests change frequently. They learn quickly. They like to try new activities, but they don't like to fail - most especially in the eyes of adults who praise them. They seek attention. They like to be tested (and win). And their memories are starting to develop.

PUT YOUR SKILLS INTO THE GAME! Looking for more game time? Our Scrimmage Session for players ages 8–10 is designed for more advanced players who are ready to take the skills they’ve developed in training and put them into action. This 60-minute session is all about playing, competing and learning through scrimmaging . Players will spend the majority of the session in game situations, giving them the opportunity to make decisions, work with teammates and apply their skills in a fun, competitive environment. What to expect: 15 minutes – Warm-up & skill-based drills 45 minutes – Small-sided games & scrimmaging Focus on applying skills in real game situations Developing teamwork, decision-making and game awareness The session is also a great option for players who are between club or recreational seasons and want to keep playing, developing and getting valuable game experience.

For those of you who have played in our 4&5 year old classes you may be asking what it next well in this age group we are going to continue to build on those foundations whilst also introducing a more team oriented environment. If your player is new to soccer, no worries the classes cater for beginner players and will introduce and work on the soccer fundamentals. 6–8 Year Old Classes: Skill Development & Game Awareness Longer activities More structured skill-based games Competitive 1v1 challenges Clear objectives (score, defend, protect the ball) More organized scrimmages (3v3, 4v4) Will they pay attention and be able to do all the drills in the first class? Every single child is different! Some students get it right away and others need a little bit more time to get used to the game, and to our coaches. Once they become accustomed to the routine and to our coaches they will pay attention more and more as the weeks progress. Cognitive mental development in 6-8yr olds Kids in this age group still love games and imagination. Their attention span is becoming a little longer but it is inconsistent. They can focus on one task longer (not as many changes in activities). These kids talk a lot and ask a lot of questions. Their interests change frequently. They learn quickly. They like to try new activities, but they don't like to fail - most especially in the eyes of adults who praise them. They seek attention. They like to be tested (and win). And their memories are starting to develop.

Welcome to our soccer classes for 4 year old players! For those of you who have played in our toddler classes you may be asking what is next? Well in this age group we are going to build on those foundations whilst also introducing a more team oriented environment. If your player is new to soccer, no worries the classes cater for beginner players and will introduce and work on the soccer fundamentals. If you have played multiple seasons in this age group, check out our experienced classes on Saturday morning for players who already have a basic understanding of the game. During the class our coaches will lead the players through a series of organized mini games that help to develop listening skills, balance, running, playing as a group, basic ball skills and foot-eye coordination. In this class in particular, they will start to play 1v1s and scrimmage as a team.

For those of you who have played in our 4&5 year old classes you may be asking what it next well in this age group we are going to continue to build on those foundations whilst also introducing a more team oriented environment. If your player is new to soccer, no worries the classes cater for beginner players and will introduce and work on the soccer fundamentals. 6–8 Year Old Classes: Skill Development & Game Awareness Longer activities More structured skill-based games Competitive 1v1 challenges Clear objectives (score, defend, protect the ball) More organized scrimmages (3v3, 4v4) Will they pay attention and be able to do all the drills in the first class? Every single child is different! Some students get it right away and others need a little bit more time to get used to the game, and to our coaches. Once they become accustomed to the routine and to our coaches they will pay attention more and more as the weeks progress. Cognitive mental development in 6-8yr olds Kids in this age group still love games and imagination. Their attention span is becoming a little longer but it is inconsistent. They can focus on one task longer (not as many changes in activities). These kids talk a lot and ask a lot of questions. Their interests change frequently. They learn quickly. They like to try new activities, but they don't like to fail - most especially in the eyes of adults who praise them. They seek attention. They like to be tested (and win). And their memories are starting to develop.

For those of you who have played in our 4&5 year old classes you may be asking what it next well in this age group we are going to continue to build on those foundations whilst also introducing a more team oriented environment. If your player is new to soccer, no worries the classes cater for beginner players and will introduce and work on the soccer fundamentals. 5-7 Year Old Classes: Skill Development & Game Awareness Longer activities More structured skill-based games Competitive 1v1 challenges Clear objectives (score, defend, protect the ball) More organized scrimmages (3v3, 4v4) Will they pay attention and be able to do all the drills in the first class? Every single child is different! Some students get it right away and others need a little bit more time to get used to the game, and to our coaches. Once they become accustomed to the routine and to our coaches they will pay attention more and more as the weeks progress. Cognitive mental development in 6-8yr olds Kids in this age group still love games and imagination. Their attention span is becoming a little longer but it is inconsistent. They can focus on one task longer (not as many changes in activities). These kids talk a lot and ask a lot of questions. Their interests change frequently. They learn quickly. Our Scrimmage Session for players ages 8–10 is designed for more advanced players who are ready to take the skills they’ve developed in training and put them into action. This 60-minute session is all about playing, competing and learning through scrimmaging . Players will spend the majority of the session in game situations, giving them the opportunity to make decisions, work with teammates and apply their skills in a fun, competitive environment. We will check registrations and email you if you do not meet the requirements. There is no parents on the field in this class! Classes are built around play and games disguising the learning aspect. This format encourages more engagement from the class resulting in better participation. It's our first time playing soccer, what will my soccer star learn? Our coaches will lead them through a series of organized mini games that help to develop listening skills, balance, running, playing as a group, basic ball skills and foot-eye coordination. The activities will also help to teach gross motor skills that are crucial to healthy development and of course include, scoring lots of goals! I've been playing in the 2yr class, what will we learn now? This class will be a continuation of the skills learnt in the 2yr class as repeating the actions is very important to develop technique. Bring the African savanna to life on your stage with Simba, Rafiki and an unforgettable cast of characters as they journey from Pride Rock to the jungle and back again in this inspiring, coming-of-age tale. The Lion King KIDS features classic songs from the Broadway musical and animated feature film, including “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King,” “He Lives in You,” and “Hakuna Matata.” Young performers will also get the chance to learn a wide range of new theatrical skills—such as mask-making and puppetry—encouraging them to explore this beloved story with creativity and pride. Role placement is held on the first day of the workshop through an audition process. Every child receives a role and is involved; there are lead characters, supporting, and ensemble. Class time is rehearsal time - students are expected to practice and memorize lines throughout the week so that they come prepared to rehearse during class.
