AI Literacy in the Digital Age
About this event
AI Literacy for the Digital Age is a hands-on course designed for students who want to understand the technology shaping their world — no coding experience required. Through interactive, browser-based activities, students will explore the core ideas behind artificial intelligence by actually using real AI systems: training their own image classifiers, competing against neural networks, debating whether AI should make decisions in hiring and healthcare, and learning to spot deep fakes and AI-generated content. Note: The first session is on Monday, November 2 with each class after being on a Thursday (ending on December 17). The time is always 3:30 to 5 PM. We will provide ten laptops for participants, but you may attend with your own device if preferred.
