About this event

For all ages - Birth to 5-year-olds with a parent/ caregiver. Bring the entire family to sit together at this storytime for all ages. When ghost boy Kaz's haunt is torn down and he is separated from his ghost family, he meets a real girl named Claire, who lives above the town library with her parents and her grandmother. Claire has a special ability to see ghosts when other humans cannot and she and Kaz quickly form a friendship. The two join forces to solve the mystery of the ghost that's haunting the library. Fall Into Art: Haunted Fall Terrariums

Create a spooky miniature world in a jar! Kids will design their own haunted terrarium using moss, pebbles and tiny Halloween decorations. Build eerie scenes while using your imagination to bring your miniature landscape to life. Grades 3-6 For programs that are 30 minutes on length, a 10 minute grace period will be given, and for programs that are 45-60 minutes in the length, a 15 minute grace period will be given. To not disturb the program, there is no admittance after the grace period.

Welcome to Baby Lapsit! Enjoy songs, fingerplays, movement, and simple stories with your young one and introduce them to the wonderful world of the library! Our Baby Lapsit program is intended for babies that are not yet walking (prewalkers), with a parent or other caregiver. Please check in at the desk upon arrival. Due to the nature of this program space is limited for a more intimate learning experience. ***The first 15min will be time for play and socialization for the moms and babies.
