This Spanish language program is a collaboration between the Summit Public Library and Summit Public Schools, with generous support from the Gottesman Fund. Este programa ayuda a los padres a crear una rutina de lectura en casa, les muestra cómo compartir libros con sus hijos y apoya tanto a los padres como a los niños en edad escolar, con el aprendizaje de vocabulario en inglés y los recursos de la biblioteca. Join us for an original English-Chinese interactive storytime series designed for children aged 1-5 and their older siblings are always welcome. During each session, we will follow a Panda named YoYo on his journey as he goes on a new adventure through picture books, singing songs, moving around and playing with the children. Unlike other programs where Chinese is presented as a formal language class, this program presents language, literacy and culture in a fun, welcoming and developmentally age-appropriate manner.
