Join our low-stakes, self-paced Caregiver and Me Grab & Go Book Club + Craft by stopping in the children's room at library to grab the book & kit beginning May 5th at 4:00 PM. WHILE SUPPLIES LAST ; LIMITED SUPPLIES. Please note: This is a TAKE home book and craft to do with a child ages 2-8 years old and there is no actual in-person program!! Again, this is not a program at the library. This is a craft and book to take home and do at home. Reservation not required, BUT will guarantee you a kit! Registration opens May 1st at 4:00 PM. This month's book club pick is Cinco De Mayo by Julie Murray. "Cinco de Mayo is an important Mexican holiday that celebrates the Mexican army defeating the French in the Battle of Puebla. Readers will learn that Mexicans celebrate the day with exciting events like parades, enjoying Mexican cuisine, and spending time with family and friends. Complete with simple text and colorful photographs" What's in the kit: -The book club book (to be checked out on your account, so BRING YOUR LIBRARY CARD! ) -Craft instructions & basic supplies

Babies and Books

Join us for story time! We will be singing songs, learning rhymes, and reading books together. This story time is designes for infants and babies who are not yet walking. Babies/toddlers who are walking should register for Toddler Times on Wednesdays. Thank you for your cooperation. Grownups, please read! Space is limited. There are two program time options (10:30 & 11:15am) so that more people can attend the program. When you arrive, please obtain a program ticket at the Information desk. The storytime room will open 5 minutes before the program begins. If your child is antsy or crying, you are welcome to take a break and return to the program room when your child has calmed down. Please be courteous to others in the class, participate in the songs and rhymes, and keep conversation to a minimum. No late comers will be permitted.
