About this event

Our program offers a delightful mix of cooking and art, providing kids with the opportunity to explore Italian specialties like pasta, pizza, appetizers, and special desserts, all made with simple and organic ingredients, and unleash their imagination as they create masterpieces using a variety of mediums, from paint and clay to mixed media. After a long day in school, the joy of cooking and crafting beautiful artwork allows kids to unwind, express themselves, and engage in hands-on learning in a relaxed and supportive environment. Under the guidance of our warm and experienced educators, children will roll up their sleeves and dive into the hands on cooking activity to whip up delicious recipes inspired by the rich flavors of Italy. And then painting colorful canvas, sculpting clay figurines or drawing. Our program provides a nurturing and supportive environment where children can develop teamwork, communication, and problem-solving, all while having a blast with their peers. Plus, with an emphasis on using simple and organic ingredients, parents can feel good knowing that their children are preparing wholesome and nutritious food made with love, that they'll bring home to taste with their family. We can't wait to welcome your child into our deliciously creative community! Pick up (K- 5) from nearby schools available (PS321, PS 282, Berkeley Carroll) . Community Soccer League | 1st Grade

Sun, Apr 26 · 9:00 AM

Futbol Rebels Clubhouse · Bedford-Stuyvesant

The Futbol Rebels Community Soccer League is our indoor street soccer league for kids from 1st grade through Middle School . Every Saturday, our clubhouse transforms into a community soccer hub where kids from the community throw on their Futbol Rebels jersey, and jump into small-sided street soccer-style games (3v3, 4v4, or 5v5). They get tons of touches, score goals, and play with friends new and old. This community league is open for all kids. How It Works Player Pool Format Instead of fixed teams, all players are part of one big pool. Coaches form balanced teams each week — just like pickup soccer. Fast, Small-Sided Games Games are short and intense, with rolling subs and lots of touches. Kids rotate through multiple games in a session, so everyone stays engaged. No Pressure, All Fun No standings, no playoffs — just the joy of playing. Kids are encouraged to try new moves, take risks, and grow their confidence. Why Families Love It Safe Indoor Play All Winter. More Touches, More Goals, More Fun. A True Community League - local kids, local families, local energy. Affordable Access - Just $150 for 10 weeks (~$15 per week). Pathway for Growth — start here, then join our After-School Programs, Camps, Toddler Classes, Clinics & Girls or Boys Travel Teams.
