Get ready to build, discover, and innovate! In this exciting hands-on program, young engineers will dive into the world of FIRST LEGO League: Explore, where creativity meets real-world science and teamwork. Students will tackle this season’s themed Explore Challenge by designing, building, and coding a LEGO model using the LEGO® Education SPIKE™ robotics set. In Explore, teams of students focus on fundamenals of engineering as they explore real world problems, and learn to design, code, and create unique solutions. This term's theme is SUBMERGED, where teams will use creative thinking and LEGO technology to explore the layers of the ocean and bring their learnings and ideas to the surface as they "sea" into the future

Aikido Kids Classes

Aikido of Park Slope · Gowanus

Aikido is a well-rounded and rigorous non-violent Martial Art training experience that includes warm-up and conditioning exercises, Ukemi practice (the art of falling), wooden weapons practice (Bokken and Jo), open-handed aikido techniques, games, and meditation. Children are encouraged to develop a growth mindset without unnecessary competition. Testing for a new belt level happens 3 times a year. As at any true martial art dojo children can freely attend some or all classes within their schedule.
