Join us for a Jack and Friends Concert with Suzi Shelton and Benjamin! Featuring special guest Melody Allegra (violin)! We're happy to have them here and enjoy their individual hits and their their new music from their collaborative album, We’re Friends Now . Suzi Shelton is an award-winning singer/songwriter who brings joy to families. Suzi creates music that is both uplifting and fun, encouraging little ones to sing, dance, and explore the world around them. With 10 albums and multiple singles under her belt, Suzi’s songs are filled with playful melodies and positive messages, making her a beloved figure among families who seek heartwarming and interactive musical experiences. Who’s cute and tough and holds your stuff? Princess Backpack! Princess Backpack and Benjamin can’t wait to bring their unique style of playful, joyful, and interactive music to the Brooklyn Public Library. Benjamin writes scripts and songs for shows like Dora on Paramount+, Rosie’s Rules on PBS, and Vida the Vet on Netflix, and has a picture book coming out with Simon and Schuster. Princess Backpack is a magical talking bag from the land of Backpackia. This program will have registration that will open 24 hours before the program begins.** Please only one registration per family. Late entry will not be permitted beyond a 10 minute grace period. **This restriction is due to the fire safety limit set by the fire Marshall and is non-negotiable.

Babies and Books

Join us for story time! We will be singing songs, learning rhymes, and reading books together. This story time is designes for infants and babies who are not yet walking. Babies/toddlers who are walking should register for Toddler Times on Wednesdays. Thank you for your cooperation. Grownups, please read! Space is limited. There are two program time options (10:30 & 11:15am) so that more people can attend the program. When you arrive, please obtain a program ticket at the Information desk. The storytime room will open 5 minutes before the program begins. If your child is antsy or crying, you are welcome to take a break and return to the program room when your child has calmed down. Please be courteous to others in the class, participate in the songs and rhymes, and keep conversation to a minimum. No late comers will be permitted.
