Time for Two's is Brooklearn’s gentle introduction to a preschool experience for our neighborhood's youngest learners! This class will be led by experienced early childhood educators and will meet for an hour and 30 minutes two-three times per week. In Time for Two's, our youngest children explore and play together in a warm, safe environment while learning how to be part of a school community. We support a gentle separation process that is tailored to each child’s unique development. Each class follows a preschool schedule and includes open ended play, art activities, meeting time, stories, music, a light snack, and time in our playroom. A bit about the separation process: At Brooklearn we truly believe a gentle, caring approach to separation is best for long term happiness and for building trusting relationships. Each child will react differently to separating from their caregiver and we are ready and prepared to help your child through the adjustment. Just know that the teachers will go out of their way to help each child and make everyone feel welcome and special in our space.
